Hi akramweb It is actually a two step process. The general idea is to find out: A) How many searches there are for a keyword. B) How much competition there is for that keyword. In short you need to discover Keywords that get a HIGH amout of Searches with LOW competition. Before i continue i should mention there are two types of Keyword. 1) Short Tail (Usually up to three words) ie " Hotels In Paris" 2) Long Tail Keywords (Longer than three words) ie "Hotels In Paris that serve a decent cup of coffee The process.... Go to your search engine and type in google keyword tool It will usuall be the first listing and select " Keyword Tool Google Adwords" You will have to sign in by typing in the code. Once in ensure you have selected BROAD on the MATCH TYPES selection on the left hand side of the page. If you use my example "Hotels in Paris" you will notice over three million searches a month YIPPIEE i hear you say.... Thats alot of searches per month... However if you go back to google and type in "Hotels in Paris" ( Include the quotation marks) This displays the exact match for those keywords. This is what you are competing against. In this case not so good. As a general rule of thumb when i choose keywords they are: 1)Long Tail 2)Have a global monthly search greater than 3000 3)Have a competition of around 60,000 ish.. Hope this info is of use to you... Best wishes.. Gary Create your first website www.howtomakemoneyfromwebsites.net
