For those who want their "classic Google" back, simply search with the following URL: http://www.google.com/webhp?hl=all If you want to revert back to the new Google layout, use: http://www.google.com/webhp?hl=none It's interesting comparing both next to one another. Enjoy!
In Firefox address bar type about:config, then Filter by "Goog", find the Preference Name: Keyword.URL(should something like http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=navclient&gfns=1&q= ). Change that to http://www.google.com/webhp?hl=all&q= Now you can search from the Address Bar, it adds an extra step by first taking you to Googs homepage with the keyword already in the search box. Hit the search button.
hmm... interesting find - and thanks for sharing. I think I'm going to try using the new search feature for a while and see if I can get used to it.
Hey guys : @ SearchBliss and @ webquick. Thatz really great find. I was somewhat feeling too uneasy with this new layout of google and was missing the old one. Now I can switch back to the old one anytime I want
Hey thanks. I hope it stays up. I hate the new layout. Got one for youtube? they changed there's too.
