How to search for related keywords?

Discussion in 'Keywords' started by apolosgreen, Jul 21, 2010.

I often use a web site to search for any related keywords, the trouble is that most of the words that it comes up with have no meaning at all, and are totally irrelevant. Are there any other good tools that are available to the same purpose?

And also, what’s the best density for related keywords? I used the kdindex of googlerankings.com, but am still unsure about how these are calculated? Would someone please clarify more about this? I really would appreciate your opinions and advice. They will be very useful to my entire SEO process.

Market Samurai ( free trial download in my sig ) ... Very powerful tool, not just for keywords. There is a reason its so popular.

As for keyword density. 3-5% for the main keyword. But keep in mind that you don't have to stuff text with it. You can hide some in the footer, in the sidebar, etc.

Why don't you use Adwords Keyword Tool? It's shows relevant keyword phrases with monthly global and regional searches. I think you should give it a try as a lot of SEOs use this tool for keyword analysis and selection.

    Good luck,

I prefer using Google adwords tool or word tracker. Both works good for me. Also you should analyze the competitors websites and get the keywords that they are targeting. Select the keywords that are drawing a decent amount of traffic.

Wonder wheel!! (no one ever suggests this so I did not want it to feel left out!)

Remember that these suggestion tools are helpful but can only help so much. Our brains make many more connections than what these tools can do a lot of times.

If you want to do it for free, you aren't going to beat the google keyword tool.

    https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

If you want the bells and whistles, so to speak, then there isnt anything better than micro niche finder IMO, does a great job and is well worth the money.

There are a variety of tools available. Some are better than others, some will only use Google suggest and others will populate data from multiple/other sources.

    Hi apolosgreen

I prefer only Google adwords for taking the keywords for my website. Best tool for keywords suggestions. Or you can go in for digital point keywords suggestion tool

The keywords density that depends on how the content is.. The content should be the king. Moreover if the content is meaningful then the keywords density would not come into play the role. Just think of the content

i think you Choose the right keywords that are drawing a decent amount of traffic and finding all of these words can be quite difficult, however Keyword Discovery makes this task simple.
