    * Use a strong password and change it on a regular basis
    * Use HTTPS whenever possible
    * Use a secure computer to access your account, and change the password if you think the computer may have had a keylogger installed on it

    I bought a PDF college book online, and the person steals my money and did not send me anything, I contacted Paypal, but they said they could not do anything about it because I bought the intangible items ( PDF file of college books ), but I would like to track this person down before he cheated more people .

    Pay-pal protect him and would not release his address of his profile, as far as I know, his bank account is Non-US, he might be in India or other Asian country. I want to track him down to report to the police either here or local police wherever he is.

    He uses name in pay pal : Lap Tran

    Pay-pal Email address:

    Seller email address:

    Any help or suggestion is greatly appreciated.

    thanks...

    I would use a really strong password, always use HTTPS when ever possible, and keep your computer updated so if anything crazy were to happen your computer would know about it asap

    Never store information on a computer if it is shared or on a network. Regularly change and update your password and mix it up with alpha numeric digits.

    one thing i learned is to never ever click any link emailed to me by unknown person because the site can easily install malicious files on your computer

    One way to save your accounts from hacking is to change your passwords once in a while

    Hi,

    It's really a crazy world we live in right now, there's always somebody that wants to take something valuable from you, especially in the cyber world.

    Spammers, hackers and scam artists are everywhere, you should protect yourself by any means.

    @Sweetie2006, don't worry PayPal will ban his account if he gets a lot of complaints, but usually these guys keep on creating different accounts.

    Peace,

    CaliPro
