How to save bandwidth for a video site ?

    Hi,

    I am building a site with some small videos (of around 1-2 MB) and some PDF's. Now I don't want my bandwidth to get wasted by search engines crawling my site and indexing these videos.First of all, should I even allow them to do it or not ? if NO than how can I stop them from indexing the videos ?

    Most of your bandwidth usage will be because of people hotlinking your videos. I have found a ton of mine linked or even embedded in forums. I was able to get most of it stopped with http://www.antihotlinking.com
