Why there isn't an easy software for running VPN on windows servers ? i heard about cproxy ,that is really easy but its socks NO PPTP VPN .... also i want control VPN port bcoz PPTP VPN port is closed on some countries like china or IRAN
Why don't you use the internal Win2003 VPN Server ?? I've setup a VPN Server two weeks ago and it works very well. BUT I think there's no chance to change the VPN port on a win2003 server listens to from 1723 to another port. so this could be a problem. Here is a tutorial I've used: http://www.onecomputerguy.com/networking/w3k_vpn_server.htm
I had written a tutorial here: http://www.hoaxblog.com/servers/configuring-vpn-for-windows-vpsdedicated-server It uses RRAS to route the traffic.
why there is no software for that ? a software to use RRAS to route the traffic ... i hate do these thing manually
The only other way I know is with a "virtual" OpenVPN Machine. You can download a ready installed VMware Machine and setup this machine on Win2003 Server. http://www.openvpn.net/index.php/access-server/download-openvpn-as.html Personaly I prefer the integrated Win2003 VPN Service.
