I was wondering, does anyone have any knowledge or possess any thorough tutorials on how to rip vBulletin skins? If yes, please post them. I will be willing to slice\n\code layouts, as well as desgin graphics, and customize their vBulletin (I'm a handy person to have around when it comes to vB), all for the tutorial. If you want money, the max. I would pay is about £10 (yeah, I'm that desperare).

    Illegal..
People work hard designing them and you expect to steal them? :S
I could fill pages about why it's wrong but I doubt you're interested in hearing that.
Why don't you just pay for the skins?

Not from organisations like vBSkinworks, I mean templates that people have made for personal use. I do not intend to distribute the final product, but I need it from something we're doing at school.

Email the owner of the forum and ask them :)
Ripping is illegal, even if you're doing it for school

Let me clarify, I do not intend to do it consecutively, just once. If you have any knowledge, please just say and tell me, I swear I will not distribute.

Sorry, but people usually tend to break their "promises". Even if it's for school the work is still copyrighted(...insert long post detailing why it's wrong..)

Anyway, there are a lot of designers here who have worked very hard so they are pretty much against these kind of things =/

I'm not that kind of person, but then again, you wouldn't know that.

Wasn't an idea. Was a fact.

I don't think anybody is going to answer your question.
People work extremely hard on forum skins, they're probably one of the hardest things to design so designers aren't okay with people ripping their hard work, even if it's once for a school project. Just write the owner and see if they agree. If they do, good for you, if they don't.. get your school to stop asking students to do illegal things.
No hard feelings, I'm just really against ripping.

But ripping is fun, dont you think? I mean, i enjoy doing it, not only do i learn from their work, but i expand on it, and modify it to my own needs. In all honesty, everything and anything is ripped from something. So your just contradicting yourself by saying your against ripping.
