How to retrieve my lost data base from cpanel

    i was working on some stuff at cpanel of my directory where accidently i emptied all my cat and sub cat. plz advice me how to retrieve it back.

    Do you do your own backup? It will be easier to retrieve back if you do.

    If not, try asking your hosting.

    You might need to cross your fingers and pray that your host does weekly backups. The only way to get your database restored if you don't have them is to contact your host for it.

    You need to ask your hosting company to retrieve your database if they have a backup. I know many companies that don't make regular backups, but the more respectable ones are usually offering backups in their services.

    You should also make some regular backups of your files and database just to be on the safe side in the future

    Thanks a lot, my host did me the favour and now i will remember to keep a backup and this stands good for all the newcomers like me.
