I want to pull the comments from a section of my blog and insert them into another page on my site and when people leave comments on my blog for it to automatically go to that spot on my site. Please let me know if this is possible and if so how. Thanks,
Create a page template, call it commentpage.php look into your themes folder where comments.php is copy that snippet of code into your new template and your comments should display, there's about 10 other steps and 20 different ways you can do this but this is quick and dirty.
I thought that that was just a general page. I have about 100 pages with comments that I need to pull and put in different spots. How do I do that?
Placing specific comments in different areas on you blog sounds a bit redundant. Do you require all comments from specific blog posts to post or do you want to pick and choose and place by taxonomy?
I have a web site with vacation rentals and I set up blog posts for guests to comment on each vacation rental. I want to pull the comments from the blog and put them on the vacation rentals page on my site.
I just have a temp page going, but it will look similar to www.waikoloavacationrentals.com/kolea-rentals/14m-test2 You can see some wordpress comments I just copied and pasted a little ways down the page. I want that info to automatically pull from the wordpress page.
Not very good. I know a descent amount about html. If it is complicated I will just have my web guy do it.
Okay well i'd be happy to do it for you for some MONAY! It's somewhat technical, if you don't have a clue then you'll need to hire this out.
