How To Repost Old Thread, Please Help If You Know This.

I am using DP since 08 but cant restart the same tread with out loosing the comments and followers every time i have to submit it as a fresh, it must be very simple but i cant find how.

DONT post a duplicate thread however the only way I believe you can post the same product again is if some things are changed (not just a few words that would still be classed as a dupe), for example you post a domain as a make offer sale, I believe it would be ok to post it as an auction sale instead provided you request the thread be closed first otherwise you will still get an infraction for a dupe post. Use the report post button to request a thread to be closed but otherwise DO NOT post the same thread again.

Actually i think i did not explain what i want, properly. sorry for that guys. i am not asking for dupe post i have seen many people have posted threads same again and again and next after their thread it says for eg 3 days old or five days old but it is on top which mean it is reposted today how they do that.

That is something which is built into VBulletin which lets members know how old the thread is, once your thread gets to a day old you will see 1 day old in grey beside the thread title. Also when posting a new thread it is exactly that, also comments/posts from previous threads cannot be moved into your new thread.

However it can't hurt to link to the old thread in the post as long as it is not a dupe, if there are reviews or comments which you want people to see.
