How to remove wordpress site broken links

    I am working on a wordpress site, Recently i find broken links on site. I want to know, How do i remove broken links from site and search engines?

    Can anyone guide me?

    By using link checker plugin,its easy to remove broken link,just unlink that broken link

    Lol ye, That happens a lot on DP!.. Anyways, Broken link checker is a nice plugin, didn't know it existed before reading this post.

    But i think i understood the first answer! The rest was just unnecessary.

    And oh, just another thing!

    Don't delete your posts if they are indexed in google make a 301 redirect to one of your other related posts, or redirect it to your main page.

    Just a tip, then you won't loose those visitors ;)

    As everybody said brokenlinkchecker plugin or you can make redirect at 404 page to your homepage.

    I don't know if there is a plugin that can find them all and redirect them at once, but when you have found the broken links via broken link checker, there are a lot of other plugins that makes it easy to redirect the, for instance wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-redirect-301-or-302/ (haven't tried it myself) If that doesn't work, try some of the other plugins that claim to be able to do the same, ther are a bunch of them if you serch for it.

    Have you ever tried the broken link checker ?? I think it has the option like that.
