How to remove unwanted pages from Joomla site?

    Please suggest me how to get rid of unwanted pages from Joomla website?
    When I checked webmaster tools , crawl errors are showing from the unpublished pages of news and events. How can we remove these errors?

    your question not clear (sory bad english)
    I think:
    1. Remove all your unpublish contents, modules, menus,extension unused
    2. Use 404 redirect
