What I mean is how do I stop accounts I recently visited from appearing at the top of the search list when I type in part of their name, if that makes any sense. It's really annoying.
I guess Twitter thought it was being helpful. Bit of a first world problem, right? Or does the missus not approve of the accounts you've been searching up? Pro tip - add them to a private list, search for benign accounts to change the recent results, and then access your "content" via the list next time.
1. Go to the Search tab at the bottom of the screen by tapping the magnifying glass icon. 2. Tap the search bar at the top of the screen. 3. Next to "Recent searches," tap the little "x" to clear all search history. Note that search history on desktop and mobile is separated: If you want both cleared, you will have to follow the instructions above for both devices.
Under Saved, find the saearch suggetsion you want to remove, then tap the X next to it to remove it. Greetings
You need to remove all searches with the "Clear all" option. When you clear it your history will be removed.
