How to remove the categories of a directory?

    Currently I dump the categories from directoryspy.com, and execute the sql script in phpAdmin and installed the categories. But found the categories are not what I want, so I want to completely remove the categories, and manually input one by one of my own.

    How to completely remove the categories from directoryspy.com withou leaving anything from drectoryspy.com in my database? I'm afraid that delete the categories in administration panel will still have directoryspy.com things in my database.

    I've never installed it myself, but can't you rename the categories instead of deleting it?

    you can delete the categories from Admin panel.

    OR

    Set up your directory again.

    simply delete the categories from the database by deleting the records in SQL
