How to remove sub-categories from permalinks ?

    Hi guys !
    I've got a website with "cats" and "sub cats" and "sub sub cats"
    So when I create a post the permalink is:
    www.website.com/cat1/subcat1/subsubcat1/postname.html

    is it possible to have it like cat1/subcat1/postname.html ?

    As far as I know, you can't change the way your category permalinks function. That is just the way it works.
