Few days back website was hacked and hackers pushed 1000 of spam pages to my website with backlinks and it got indexed too.

Those backlinks was generated in a single days and now its showing up in
Site Explorer of ahrefs.com that is really looking bad.

Please share how to do so that it will not appear in ahrefs site explorer.

I am sad to hear your situation.
I urge you for time being set your affected pages with a 404 response.
If those pages truly response with a 404 or 410, then yes - Google will realize they are gone and drop them.
Then recreate (with your original backup copy if you have), and ping it (to update the search engine).

Just because the spam links are showing up in Site Explorer and ahrefs doesn't mean they've been indexed in Google. I will almost bet you they haven't been indexed within Google that fast, especially spam links, they actually may never get indexed. Google released an update back in June on indexing, doesn't happen as fast/easy.

I would suggest using the disavow tool but if they aren't indexed then there's nothing to disavow. Check to see if Google has indexed them.

Posted before I was done with my post. Do not follow this advise. This is not how you deal with spam links.

You can use disavow tools to by passing those to get index by google. Just create your disavow tool and upload it using Google web masters tools. Hope it will help you.

Search the URL's in Google. If there is no result, they haven't been indexed.
There is a way to block all the backlink checker bots but it has to be done on the site where the links are and you don't have access to others sites. There's really nothing you can do about it. The links should fall off slowly over time.

In order to remove bad links you have to do 2 things

    1. Make a link removal request to webmaster
    2. Use disavow tool to notify google about those links which you can’t able to remove.

If your site is already ranking and good standing, it is essential to conduct link removal activity. Hence I recommend you to do so.

1st step is to Make a link removal request to webmaster

For this step first you have to find the entire bad link and the webmasters associated to each link and politely send a link removal request email.

Points to remember while doing this are,

The removal process can be challenging and tricky
    You can’t remove all backlinks
Personalize each email sending to webmasters
Always send a follow up to make sure your message was received
    DON’T threaten the webmaster
Never pay for link removals- if webmaster ask money to remove don’t pay them, remember you can disavow links which can’t removable.

2nd step is Use disavow tool to notify google about those links which you can’t able to remove.

You can find disavow here: www. google.com/webmasters/tools/disavow-links-main?pli=1

To do this Get all your unmemorable bad links in a text file and upload this file to disavow tool.

Its take weeks according to Google to process disavowed links.

    Hope this helps,

Any more helps feel free to contact…
