How to remove sound from a video clip? Please help

    Sup everyone. I need to remove the sound from a video clip, but i have no clue how. The video clip is .avi . Does anyone know a FREE program that does this? Thanks!! Will give green rep to who ever helps me.

    Try www.virtualdub.org.

    Just open your avi in VirtualDub
    Go to Audio > No Audio
    Got to Video > Direct stream copy

    Then resave the file as an avi. You should end up with a slightly smaller filesize, and no audio. It should only take a few seconds to save too, as there isn't any re-encoding going on.

    Can't you just use Windows Movie Maker to open the file then take out the audio layer?
