Hi have finally figured out a way to remove the RegisterFly ProtectFly from those domains that would not change and gave errors. As far as I know, removing ProtectFly never has been a mystery or hidden fact, matter to browse through the different options available so I don't see why so excited. Unlocking is just the same, click on the number of domains you have from the main screen, then click on the domain name and scroll down until you read "Domain Status", click on Unlock or Lock in the right side and you are able to do so
Dude, were not that stupid that we dont know how to unlock a domain or remove ProtectFly with the standard controls. Fact is that these controls DO NOT WORK for a lot of domains .. There certainly IS an issue with ProtectFly. I had about 75 domains on registerfly .. just about ALL of them has ProtectFly enabled. I removed ProtectFly on about 72 of them no problem, BUT 2-3 of them would report an error about an 'incorrect country code' .. and NO MATTER WHAT .. would not change the whoIs or disable ProtectFly. The ONLY method to remove protect fly on these domains is the method I stated above. But again .. 99% of domains can simplely remove ProtectFly in the standard manner. Its like the RRP code errors .. 99% of domains dont get these problems and work fine .. but that small percentage needs a fix. As far as locked domains .. I have been able to transfer ALL my domains to goDaddy. Some appeared to be locked, some showed unlocked. I think it might be a user end issue .. but id go and try to transfer everything even if you THINK they wont transfer .. you might be supprised. Another funny thing is that RegisterFly STILL shows ALL my domains in there system even tho there moved to GoDaddy and a whoIs shows GoDaddy has control of them. IMO the user end of RegisterFly just makes some things appear worse than they really are. If anyone has any questions feel free to PM me ..
