How to remove pages from Google Index ?

    HI,


    I have deleted the site long back and still I see the pages in Google index. So please tel me how to remove them . I have checked in webmaster tool there we have site verification "I have deleted the entire site , Even I have removed that domain." "Because of duplicate site ". Can any one tel me how to solve this problem..

    I have already encountered this kind of question...

    By the way here's the solution but in order to remove a URL from the Google index, you need to first verify your e-mail address (in Google)....

    you can use those pages from your webmster tools panel. there is a url reemovals link on your webmaster tools panel

    Hmm but if the site isn't yours how can you remove it from Google Index ?

    Yep, once the page is cashed and domain is gone. You are SOL. Your only alternative is to request url removal.

    just curious, any1 tried this method to remove pages in Supplemental index? It would be sweet if it can be done.
