You must to remember these few steps:

    1) >> Start by doing a thorough virus scan of the computer that you use to create your website
    2) >> Change the passwords on all of the FTP Accounts for the website
    3) >> Delete all of the files from the serve
    4) >> Restore the files for your website from your local back-ups
    5) >> Update all blog, forum, gallery, CMS, and all other scripts
    6) >> File a Malware Review Request

If you have no backup ask your host (which may cost money).

Yes, you can, and then re-upload it again.

However, your host should have some backup copy... If it is good enough hosting, they would have fixed it for you.

Find the shell, where they are gaining access to being able to inject malware into your site. And find out how you can patch it. Clear the malware, and make sure you keep everything updated from here on out.

Is it wordpress? If so you can log in if possible and get the https://wordpress.org/plugins/sucuri-scanner/ plugin to scan for malware.

If you have a VPS you can install MalDetect and use it to scan for malware. Don't download it if possible because you don't know what the malware can do. It could be anything.

    curl -O http://www.rfxn.com/downloads/maldetect-current.tar.gz
    tar -xvzf maldetect-current.tar.gz
    cd maldetect-1.4.2
    ./install.sh

    Run with: maldet -r /home/
    Code (markup):

Just remember most of the time unless you're paying a fee for it. The back ups from most hosting providers are "best effort". You should ALWAYS back-up your own site as often as you can.
