How to remove laptop screen completely and use external monitor?
One of my old laptop screen is broken. I want to reuse the laptop with new external monitor (no internal).
When I remove the laptop screen, it won't detect the external monitor.
Should I remove the primary screen from boot menu or there is some more hardware removal needed?
Old Laptop model:- Compaq 783 TU

No that's not possible when primary monitor is removed.
I figured out a way. But not 100% what I wanted.
Just removed the broken lcd screen, lcd inverter and top part, but the circuit of lcd screen still attached.
I haven't got any way till now to remove the circuit completely.
