I don't know anything action script guys, let me know if I should stop trying.

I was trying to make a header with zoom effect in flash. I made it but it looks jerky in the slow motion. How do you solve this problem?

If you have more frames it should look smoother.

And more frames makes bigger files. To get it real smooth you need big files.

It does also depend on how you are making the zoom, whether with MotionTween or by hand (set keyframe by keyframe). For smooth panning, I just have it set at 24fps (movie/tv standard). I then go down from that until I'm at the limit of jerking.

One doesn't necessarily need a huge file to make something smooth... what you use for images and how efficiently you use the Symbols make a bigger difference.
