    hi all

    example:

if i type www.freebeat.info/kicks.html it goes to that page

but if i type www.freebeat.info/kicks i get an error (it cant be found)

How do i get my website to recognize it without the .html on the end? as it will be easier for people to remember

    thanks

create a folder called "kicks". Then place the kicks.html inside that folder and name it index.html

or use apache mod_rewrite to rewrite your URL's to what you actually want. google it and you'll find lots of helpful resources.

putting everything in folders is not adviseable.

I like the mod_rewrite method :) Also, you could up separate host headers and then track each of your "html" files as websites.
