Recently, I purchased around 26k followers for my twitter account, and that was for increasing my Klout score, which was already in 60's with the bots. And from the day I've added the bots, my Klout score has been dropping by one point a day, which is really bad for me. So what I need now is I need to remove all the bot followers from my account. If I block them one at a time, it would take me a century to complete the task. So now what should I do? The problem is, I cannot block everyone, because I have some high profile followers including icann, which I dont want to lose. Someone please tell me what should I do now? Any help would be really appreciated!
Try http://manageflitter.com, they have tools for filtering and unfollowing users by various criteria.
I think you didn't understand my point. I want to remove the people who are following me, not the people who I follow
Oops, sorry, my bad. But I just noticed that they added a paid feature that can show fake/spammy accounts following you.
Nope, not all followers. Only the bots. And I wont mind clicking 1000 times, but 26k is way too much to click.
I haven't tried this yet (because I'm only using the free version) but I believe tweepi has a "force unfollow" feature.
Nope, it is absolutely possible to remove followers from twitter, all you need to do is to block them.
Try tweepi.com they have a new options " force users to unfollow you " ... I didn't try it but i use tweepi to manage my twitter account. I hope it'll help.
