pm me the site and I'll take a look at what keywords they're using and if I can I'll try and help you, but it won't be anything illegal and it would probably take a few months and I'd ask that you do something nice in return maybe donate money to a charity or some sort of random kind act.
you should never overlook bribery, extortion, and murder, three tools which i think are far underused
There are two companies that I've followed who continue to flourish. One has been slammed by national newspapers (who continue to accept their ad $), government agencies and consumer watch dogs. It's all online and all searchable. Yet people still put $1million in franchise operations with them and buy their products. Why? Because people don't search as much as you'd think they would. So much for due diligence! The other is a seemingly successful company yet over the last few years their main business strategy is pro forma fraud. I out SEO them and get comments on my blog about them every so often. However their ticket price is low so people just pay, and don't spend a second searching. (see my second sig link) So, I wouldn't be too fussed about what this site says. The more you fuss the happier they will be because the fuss is a distraction and stops you succeeding in your business. You'd be surprised what you lawyer will be happy to do to help, even though it may be empty threats. The others will need to call your bluff and most don't have the stomach for it. good luck!
Google aren't the police of the internet, Their job is to list pages that are online. Even with a court order i don't think Google can be forced to remove the pages from their index.. A court order would be far more likely to make to the host pull down the pages because even if Google don't index the page it will still be online. So basically there isn't anything you can do and Google are unlikely to remove a site over a childish squabble where someone said something you don't like.
However there are so many hosts that they will just move the site to a new host. Then again, ban the site (ie the domain) and they'll just buy a new domain and start over...
What's the site? Providing it may help us determine how to best address your request. If you don't feel comfortable posting here, PM it.
You cant remove website you don't like.... forget about it unless they are doing something that is against Googles TOS.
Use http://www.funmsg.net, and send a fake message to the person, pretending to be from google, or their hosting provider. Works 11.5% percent of the time.
I dont know if it is possible. I think you might be able to try to sue that company for slander or defaming your name, but alas the internet is a place of free speech and depending on what sort of wrong information they are posting you might get thrown into to "free speech" barrell.
wow you want to know if you can use illegal ways to remove it? #1 they slag off your company because you did something they felt was unjust, #2 you dont see how asking for illegal ways to remove a site, just shows how just their complaint is? #3 time to look at your company policy and practices and change them so people wont slag off your company when they feel it's corrupt or doing something illegal or unethical. try and offer retraining to your customer services personal, that might help

Without letting us know the site in question you might as well be asking "how long is a piece of string?" Based on your information I can certainly say that anything is possible but most things are improbable.
