Yip and thats about all you can do...

They may consider re-indexing it in a few weeks or a few months or never.

    thx

Yup, it is all up to google. The time for re-instatement depends on how bad your violations was.

It depends, how they will consider it.
It is possible, that they will never index you again.

U need a lot of Good Luck.

I'd suggest you to start a new site instead of waiting for Google. They may be too busy, or decide that your violation deserve a perm. ban. Best luck.

Without knowing what the "black hat" seo was, it is very hard to give you examples. But a major SEO firm was caught for cloaking and the site was banned for 1 year. And it is rummered that there will also be a probation period that if you violate the rules again it will become a perminant ban.

What ever happens now, you will never be able to do aggressive "white hat" seo without taking a major risk. I would start now and create a new site with a new domain on a different host.

Yup, unfortunately, you will probably get another site up a running before you get the old one back.

It literally took me less than 24hrs to get a customers website indexed again after being totally deindexed. I realized it's all about the message you leave Google when submitting for re inclusion.

The website owner had been using some blackhat techniques such as hidden text.

It's a proxy site and when I searched google for the site:mysite.com it indexes few pages.
But I can not see my page in google for the search using site name.

I don't think a proxy sites requires organic search engine traffic. Mostly they've got visitor from top list or bulletin.
But it's still worth to request reconsideration to Google.

    Yeah I agrees with you.
It's very hard to give a high rank in SERPs to proxy sites.

I don't think so that your site banned by G if you are getting results from site:mysite.com, Just try to build some good link back links and submit your site in social bookmarking sites, Articles and you will defiantly get some rank in SE.

    Thanks
