How to register in Baidu?

By scanning the QR code instad of downloading Pan Baidu directly from Play store.

 

This has been incredibly helpful! But Luigicorrias can you please tell me what I'm supposed to do when I get to the Baidu disk page. All I want to do is have Baidu trawl my website.

Baidu is the major Chinese search engine. Here what you should do to register there:
- type Baidu.com in the URL line in your browser;
- click on the blue link in the far upper right-hand of the page. It is a two character Chinese word for "log in";
- click on the gray tab on the right side of the next page. There will be Chinese phrase which means "Register for a Baidu account". It is above the two blank spaces for login and password;
- fill in the blank spaces (username, password and confirmation of password, man or woman);
- then enter your email address on the following space. Next line is for anti-spam purpose. Click on the gray box that you agree to the company's terms of service

To create a Baidu account u need to do

1. On the Baidu Portal, in the top right corner, click 注册 (Registration).

2. Enter an email address, password, and verification code, and then click 注册




You should then see a page similar to the following, informing you that an activation email has been sent to the email address you entered.


3. Login to your email account, open the activation email you received from Baidu, and click the provided link:


4. After you click the provided link in the activation email from Baidu, you must then enter the verification code (Chinese Simplified characters).

Once you have created a Baidu account, you can then register as a developer.

My partners have translated site into Chinese and would like to create baidu account.
As I understand it's impossible without chinese phone number.
Could someone help with registration, please?

I think it's rather difficult to have a chinese phone number.

 

Used to be able to register with email, good old days.
You can try to look on Taobao to see if anyone is willing to help you register for a small fee.

 

After 3 days of trying to register from an overseas mobile number on pan-baidu, I have success. I am from Australia +61 and used my personal mobile number. Today it worked and I received the sms verification almost immediately after entering my username. I am now logged in and pan-baidu has kindly displayed all pages in English because of my location. The download speeds are amazing compared with the 1kb and 'failed network' errors I have been getting with Tampermokey and Greasy Fork. When I say amazing it's still taking 60min to download 800mb, but this is fantastic compared with 1-5kb and network errors.

To finally receive the sms verification code, I used Chrome, and did not use the translate function because I found that it worked against pan-baidu's scripts and stopped the page generating information. Initially I had two pages open 1 - chinese and 1 - translated so I knew what information went where. For the first 2 - 2.5 days, I received zero sms from registering. I tried many log on pages and this is the one which worked for me: https://passport.baidu.com/v2/?reg&u=http://pan.baidu.com&regType=1&tpl=netdisk&overseas=1

My advice; keep trying and have patience. You will eventually succeed.

i found a solution:
go to textnow.com, register a US number, and then go https://passport.baidu.com/v2/?reg&u=http://pan.baidu.com&regType=1&tpl=netdisk&overseas=1
signup, done

Seems wisdomtool has given the best solution for the same..Also if you register via some other cell no other then China..You get rejected.
