I had a site go from pr3 to zero but its serps hasn't changed. do I care, NO

You can go threw googles tos and make sure that your site complies, then go in google webmasters tools and use the request reconsideration option. I would wait till the next PR update if I was you though, if the pr means that much to you. to me PR doesn't mean that much, only serps and traffic and adsense income.

Don't worry about PR but do check if your rankings and traffic are safe. If you do legitimate link building, you'll recover your PR in next update. There are least chances of regaining PR even if you apply for reconsideration. Like all said, I agree that PR doesn't matter much.

One site of mine that has lost PR a year ago has never since regained it. The traffic remains unaffected though. Despite effort to build solid link development, the PR remains an illusive dream. Perhaps we could do best is to write to Google and present our site's case. If we're lucky enough, Google people might review your site and restore the lost PR.

You can email them. If they not answer keep email them. My friend ever do this and after the latest Google update he got PR3.
