I suggest work on the titles on your page. "Results Today – 4th Nov 2010" Results for what? When I looked at your titles, i didn't know what the article was about much of the time.

A high bounce rate is not always a bad thing. If they are clicking on something to buy, let them bounce. Hmmm not sure if clicking on an ad = bounce. I always thought so but now I wonder......

There are very good articles on this, all you need to do is search in goolge for "reduce bounce rate". And actually this bounce rate is not that bad. But maybe you will be able to get it to 60 or something.

Does your site have a "search" feature? If so, do you keep a record of what visitors are typing into your in-site search box? This is often a great place to look to figure out what people want when they come to your site and possibly why they're leaving.

Mine is too high as well. I noticed someone arrived from a search and Google sent him to an old article. The content he wanted was on the site but he never looked any further, just bounced off. I added a related post plugin to my site. I don't expect it to do a LOT of good. People are in too much of a hurry but every little bit we do can help.

My average time on site is good. Many people stay for an hour or more but far too many just leave as soon as they arrive.

Just thinking, better use of long tail keywords might help too. I have a lot of search engine traffic and I think SE traffic tends to bounce more.

When I search for something, I tend to read the one article and then leave. I might be on the page for 30 minutes but if I don't click another page, that's a bounce. I doubt my behavior is a lot different from others.

If its a blog the bounce rate 76% is not something unnatural coz people are following post through search engines.
    couple of suggestions...

1.Interlink related posts from within articles with bold anchor.
2.Tag related articles and place the tag below posts.
3.Break bigger articles spanning over pages.
