How to reduce inodes?

    Hi,
    latelly I had some errors on some websites that are hosted on a shared server, after claiming that to the hosting company, they said that maybe due to my high quantity of inodes (about 180000) and that they only admit 50000,. what can I do to reduce the number of inodes?

    I've deleted all the unecessary files and so, but still have 70000.

    Buy a bigger hosting plan or change hosts. If your site isn't going to fit into the allowances then you have no choice.

    You can delete the e-mails from inbox, trash, spam folders. E-mails are also counted. I did it and worked.

    Optimizing your database will also help, and clearing logs if you have one.

    well, I've deleted all the unnecessary files and so, but not optimise DB.
