My bounce rate is peeking for some reason, I want to resuce it to under 45%, I have tried almost everything the book has to offer. Innovative tips anyone (I have came across a few tools lately but I would like to hear other oppinions before sharing them). Alons
Internal linking : Linking to relevant posts is a great idea Do Not place too much ads or outbound links : It’ll make the ‘exit way’ of your blog much bigger. Write user friendly articles : Write in a way that caught visitors attention, wrie informative articles Regards, Hashif
Yup, Hashif's got it right on target. It's best to have some really compelling and eye-grabbing content that will make the visitor want to stay. Also, make sure the visitor is getting exactly what they are looking for when coming to your page. If you don't give them what they want, they're just gonna leave, and your bounce rate will go up. So if they're looking for red baseballs and you give them a page about blue footballs, or even blue baseballs, they're not gonna stay very long. Give them what they want and they'll stay!
Interesting pictures that are relevant to visitors search terms and of course an attractive site overall
Create attractive landing page and use images with the quality content. Run offers for the visitors and try to reduce the web page loading time. You can also create fan page on social media site it will also help you to find the customers.
Enhance the content of your site. Make it more attractive to visitors that will consider it a page which is worth to visit. Enhance the web page loading for it is one of the factor that increases sites bounce rate..
There are times that bounce rate increase because of the irrelevancy of what your site have to what the viewers are really looking for. Aside from that, there's nothing interesting content in your landing page. As what most of the above suggestions, you should create more interesting stuff to keep your viewers on your site and give them reasons to browse other pages of your site.
You can check the related keyword visitors are using to come to your website with the help of google analytics and then you can change your web content according to your keywords..or may be you are using wrong keywords because these are the main reason behind the large bouncing rate
I like to put pictures of people ,usually a pretty girl, up high on the site so soon as the visitor comes into the page it will catch their interest and help keep them on the page at least to start reading the content. It kind of makes the reader feel the person in the pic is the one who wrote the page instead of some faceless being threw up any old text.
According to Google, Bounce rate is the percentage of single-page visits or visits in which the person left your site from the entrance (landing) page. Here are some ways to lower your site’s bounce rate. Provide Relevant Content Use the Language of your Target Audience Have Clear Navigation Provide Ample Content Update Your Content Smooth Navigation Do not add unwanted elements Eye catchy taglines Website compatible with different browsers Encourage the users to take an action Use re-directions where necessary Don’t overload with images
I think check your website "on page" keywords. Because irellevant keywords on meta is big problem of high bound rate.
Not too many advertisements or outgoing links to other blogs. Also, easy navigation is important. People are coming and going all of the timen the web, you need to give them a reason to stay on the site. If you have original and insightful content, your bounce rate will come down over time. A bounce rate over 45% is a cause for concern while it is virtually impossible to have a bounce rate under 20%. o
you need to put informative post and make the related post link (inner page link) obviously, this is one of the basic way to improve your bounce rate
post high quality powerful content in your website with out any grammar, punctuation and spelling mistakes. it will decrease your bounce rate of website and also increase your website ranking in Google search engine.
Agreed... i believe "Content is King" when a visitor reach your page, if he doesn't gets anything informative or proper guidelines to use ur e-commerce or shopping cart or any other Call to action, he will surely move out in lil span.. put maximum informative content on your page and don put so much adds on your page, the no. of add means no of out doors for visitors...
hi, Keep updating site Content frequiently avoid duplicate Content instead quality Content may attract your visitors which lead to decrease in Bounce rate.
