I own an imagehost site,its was working good .today morning i got a mail from my domain registrar that my domain is cancelled ,BIG PROBLEM i want to know how to redirect all my old links[image links] to new domain links, so that every image links starting with old domain will automatically redirect to new domain links, all my links are short links [ e.g http://example.com/khgnd] can any one let me know how to do that? i think .htaccess it can be done,but i don't know how???????????? plz help guys thanx.
You can't, and even if you could you would be wasting your time. Now that your old domain has expired you no longer have control of the nameservers for that domain, and anyone typing that domain into their browser will NOT reach your old site. That means there's no point in "redirecting" because you can't redirect from something you don't own and have no control over. Why not just pay to have your old domain re-enabled? That would be the best solution and a better use of your time, then you wouldn't be having this problem.
