How to Recover from Google Panda Update?

Discussion in 'Google' started by ATechGuy, May 27, 2011.

    Hi,

One of my websites heavily suffered by Google Panda updated and I dropped approx 60% traffic and revenue.

The site in question has 100% unique contents and was working fine for the last 4 years. But now I see 60% down in both traffic and revenue.

Can anyone please suggest me some high value techniques to recover from Google Panda update.

I will really appreciate any nice suggestions in this regard.

    Regards

Just keep adding content and keep building high quality backlinks. Not much more to do.

    Best of luck

Take a long hard look at where your links are coming from. Even if your site content is amazing if your links are coming from crappy spam sites then you are gonna feel the pain of Panda.

Thanks for the information. I don't believe most of the points raised can be accessed accurately by a automated bot or else a lot of innocent sites will be hammered. I don't believe a bot can be made good enough to assess whether an article is high quality, authoritive or not. Only a manual review can do this with any degree of accuracy.

The only way to recover from Google Panda Update is to add fresh and valuable content to your website. Optimize your content for seo-friendliness but make it interesting for visitors not for search engine bots. I found in Google webmaster central that they say optimize the contents for readers not for search engine bots. If you follow this simple guideline your website will be recovered from Google Panda Update.

Write original content for your website and make your website fully optimized with standard on page SEO techniques. This will help in improving search engine rankings of your website in Google and other search engines as well.

Stop using cheap 'collaborative' spinners to try and create 'new' content fast. The syntax errors these spinners introduce into your articles are VERY easy for search engines to pick up.

Whatever you did to initiate the penalty, try and refrain from it, but give Google what it wants, updated and unique content
