How to recover an old account without the phone number?

I have an old ebay account, since 2004 and I was a platinum seller for couple of years. However for some reasons I had to close my online business on ebay and start something else.

Now I wish to again start selling some products on ebay like before, however to recover my account, ebay wants me to receive a phone call from them on the same phone number, which I had registered 12 years back. Obviously I dont even remember the digits of that number, then how could I still have that number?

Last month I contacted ebay, since they asked me to send all the proof of my account alongwith my ID, which I sent them by email and by courier, however they still insist me for that phone call, which I already told them that I dont have. How can I get this account back?
