how to read google webmaster tools?

    location: Texas, USA
    sample keyword: auto body shops
    Avg. position: 7.2
    i went to google.com and search the exact keyword but my site no where to be seen even on page 20th.

    please help

    That's the average position, it depends on personalization and many other factors.

    To get a real idea of where a site is ranked you should use a rank checking tool like serpfox or any number of other ones.

    According to that rank checker you're ranked 111 for the keyword 'auto body shops'. You may need to improve your on site optimization and/or build backlinks if you want to improve your rank for particular keywords.
