Not necessarily as Google frowns upon selling links and may downgrade those pr 8 sites who you bought links from.
Just submit to like 5,000 directories and you'll have a pr 4 or higher like many of my sites. Here's a list of free ones. http://www.echoarcade.com/directory.php
LOL. You're funny. Well, let me catch my breath here first... But you're right. Babies these days have a computer in a crib. Mine has one. Although it's just a toy, a laptop toy, still it's already orienting her about the digital age. On to your question -- to get a high PR you need backlinks. To get backlinks here are some suggestions: 1. List your site to directories. Found this here http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=5818257&posted=1#post5818257 A DP member created a massive list of directories. 900 in all, I think. Just have an ice ready in case your fingers hurt from typing. 2. Create articles related to your site's topic and submit them to article directories. Create lots and lots of these. 3. As someone has mentioned, be involved in communities -- blog communities, forums, social bookmarkings, etc. Don't forget to leave your signature with your url on it. 4. Ask the gurus here for more tips. They've got more hiding in their front pockets
1-Get links from high PR sites (>4) 2-Add a forum or blog (unless your site is already one) and write quantity of posts with decent content, each with a link back to your main page (this can be done from the footer). Combine both and within six months (if there is an update of course) and you should have at least a PR3 or 4 for your site.
I would just say everything everyone has has said build links and build a good site, Such as a forum ( as they get indexed very quickly), blogs or content sites. But do not just submit your links to every singe place you find, take your time and build up your link at a slow rate -Dan
Well, I just recently discovered www.slackerlinks.com Seems to be good for short-term traffic but donno bout the PR effect.
Just checked your backlinks, very nice PR9 backlink you got there. I use commenthunt.com to find blogs in my niche and post some comments.
Wow! How did you get that PR 9 backlink? And I agree CommentHunt is simply the best for finding niche specific blogs that have high pr and have nofollow disabled.
Yep, PR less important now. Better focus on SERPs. Get more more backlinks like listings on more sites, directories
HI suppose my site is pr-2 then should i exchange links with pr-1 also for seo or exchange links with atleast pr-2 and above?
Make a Blog; and then use blogsearch.google.com to create some nice quality linkbacks *(comments)* and work from there Also look around for the "Free PR5 links" posts in the buy/sell or trade area
hey, thanks for that reference that will be very useful - I think you should take into account all of the advice above - at the end of the day the quality of your blog will count the most, and if it's really good and you get some exposure for it - you WILL get people linking to you without having to ask - good luck!
