    Hi All

I don’t even know if this is the right place to ask as i have no idea what to do for this...

I know php and mysql if that helps...

anyways, a user sends and email to someone, if this person does not respond within 60minutes, i would like a script that sends out another email to a ‘different’ person.

I can send auto emails and handle the responses, its just the matter of the counter and triggering the next email after 60minutes automatically on my website that i cannot do.

This is not spam, advertising or anything else similar. All genuie emails to people who have joined my website.

    Hope you can help.

    Alex

    Cron jobs.

Just remember to store in DB who sends email to whom and at what time.Run the cron job at specified intervals and do what you need to do.

FOR LINUX: If you have a shared hosting account then chances are you can setup scheduled tasks or 'CRON JOBS' on your hosting control panel.

What service are you with ?

    FOR WINDOWS:

On windows you can trigger a php script using the windows task scheduler.
