So here's the situation....I have been sitting on a network of credit card affiliate websites since 2004. They made some decent money a while back, enough for me to work self employed for about a year. Eventually I got penalized by some search engines for being kinda spammy and then I lost motivation. I was forced to get a job, but a year later I left that job and am now trying to get my websites back going again. I am doing alright on msn, gradually climbing yahoo and way back on google. Unfortunately that's not enough to make some decent money. Can someone check out my sites and make some suggestions to turn things around? I am concentrating mostly on article marketing with a few other link building strategies. What is the next best strategy to focus most efforts on? I have a bit of money to invest, but I need to double income within a month or two. Both are showing a PR of 3 for me... Have they always held that even through the penalty period? You seem to be on the right track with the quality backlink strategy its just that these things take time. Anything quicker then you perhaps consider blackhat. Trouble is with that comes risk and further penaltys.
Yeah I agree about not wanting to takes risks with blackhat strategies. I learned my lesson back when I first started these sites. I want long term success. They have been up and down in PR over the years...between PR2 and PR4. I haven't put much effort into them in a while though. I just want to push them to the top of msn asap and get onto page #1 of yahoo very soon too. I know Google may take more time to do the legit way. What's a good way to get a lot of msn-approved links quickly? a lot of articles? some press releases too?
