I rank number one in Bing and number four in google. I don't know how Bing works and how it differ from google. Just continue building links. Keep going!
I also want to get some info. But i see that the better rank in google site also has better rank in bing.
One of my sites http://www.orientantique.com ranks 1st page searching Chinese antique furniture on google. But it ranks much low at bing. And my another site happens the same thing. http://www.folkartcn.com So I think the bing ranks in different ways and rules.
I have heard MSN is slower regarding sorting the value of a given link, therefore its more quantity over quality with them, is this accurate?
Bing will give you more credit for having lots of links from the same site, google will give you credit for one link even if the site has 10,000 links to your site. Yahoo will do the same as bing. I have a rather old business directory, been around since 2002. It has 17,000 pages and bing/yahoo give me credit for at least 10k links from it for some of my sites. Google used to up until about 3 years ago then they got hip to that and dropped it down to 1 single link credit per IP or single site. This is from my experience and is not carved into stone. Just seems to be this way from my own sites being linked to from my own sites so keep that in mind. ###
I found my site in the first 3 weeks bing was up, my site wasnt visable at all, now with my usual pro google seo work, im on the first page of google for all my keywords, i dint do anything different, then submit press releases and aritcles.
i think bing works more like yahoo if you are working in a key word it will not show in yahoo or bing right a way, it will take long time. it is not like google
They're algorithm is more straightforward. links/anchor texts = ranking for that anchor text. With Google it isn't quite as easy.
Submit your sitemap to Bing Webmaster Tools and it will help get your site ranked in Bing quickly: http://ww.bing.com/webmaster/
