Yes it's almost the same way, that we do for getting ranking in Google.

You just need to make sure that you get good no. of link from the sites which are indexed in yahoo, or the sites which are being crawled by yahoo regularly.

I am also curious to know how to rank well in Bing. As of now for one of my site only 3% of traffic comes from Bing & 80% of traffic comes from Google.

There are many keywords for which my blog rank 1-3 on google search but when I try the same keywords on bing my website is not seen on first 2-3 pages.

 

same as what I experienced. most visitors coming from google, for visitors from bing still too small. I tried to maximize the optimization with keywords and use social bookmarking and this was enough to help me to improve the traffic from the bing.com, the problem is crawling robots from bing, not as often as google so it will be much longer indexed on their site...dooohh :|

 

In my opinion, SEO on Bing is the same way with what we do on Google. An I think the method should just be the same.
