i have just launched a new forum www.berkshirejobforum.com and have bene doing a bit of work on it (built with vbulletin) to improve my seo, thus far i have used Zoints seo and will be using an auto tag and ping service which will scan my site every hour or two and tag and ping to their own site which is a pr 7 Becuase of the nature of the forum; it's ajob site where employers list jobs in the region, split into different employment sections; i would like to be able to get as high up the search engines nto just for the forum itself but also the individual threads. I have seen sites like this and webmaster world, which whilst they are older and have high pr's appear in the google results for a search term, how would one go about doing this? because it a job forum which is heavily location based it will suit a lot of niche terms so shouldnt be too hard to rank for positions. So far i have got links on a number of pr 8 directories for not only the home page but also for each of the category pages which are taged to the keywords matching those pages, the site is a couple of days old and i am currently seeing about 1000 google bot a day and high no's of other engines, i have also posted a few articles an popped some links over from another domain which i own which runs blog solution 3 Sorry if this post has lost all logical order shoud have thought through more before i started; the essential bit of the post is really - how can i get individual forum threads to appear high in google et al regards carl

how do i go about adding h1 tags to the threads? i have implemented a seo program which will set description and keywords in relation to the content of the page is that about as much as i can do for optimization on a vb site?
