Hi, My website is getting nice amount of visitors and clicks. The only problem is that one day average CPC is $0,55 and next day is $0,03.... Is there a way to raise it?
Yes there is a way.Try to get in top 3 rank in google search engine.Your cpc will definately get higher. Good luck
Yes, i am aware of this... but what really interestes me is how to find out which are low paying advertisers whose adfs are shown on my web. If I would know this I would try to block them..
@mitdrissia: CPC has nothing to do with how you rank in search engines. Stop giving advice if you have no clue of what you're talking about. @nandrasec: If you have a lot of pages on your site the earnings could depend on which page you are getting clicks from. One of your pages might be targeting a higher paying keyword than the other one is. Try to write articles over 500 words so that AdSense finds it easier to select your most used keywords. Also, try to target high paying keywords thoughout all you pages if you want to consistently earn more money. Another thing you could do is to try to find out where you get your traffic from. Ads targeted to the US usually pays more overall.
CPC has nothing to do with the rankings, stop this nonsense! If you want to increase your CPC, target high paying keywords on your current pages, and create new pages around high paying keywords.
OK, but I do not want to make Adsense Sniper sites. I have copule of high paying keywords of course there are some keywords included which are not so well paid. I just want to find out a way to find and block which advertisers on my web are paying minimal CPC. Is there a way?
I think is very hard to get a higher CPC, it all depends in your niche. I think the best way is just to get more traffic to balance it out
As the posters above has mentioned, it's all about the "niche". What they mean is - what is your website about? Is it about cars? Pets? Finance? Some "niche" topics do very, very well in CPC. The key is to figure out what topics do well and make your website about that. If you have Google Analytics tied to Google Adsense, you should be able to break down your CPC per page. That way, you can figure out which page is giving you the best CPC. That's the best place to start.
What is your niche by the way? The problem of low CPC might be because of your niche? . I have read that high paying keywords has a major role in CPC
Either find expensive niche or find expensive keywords in your niche and optimize your pages for that keyword. Try to target your first adsense block (with loads first in browser) to place at the place where it get clicked more. as usually first ad on first ad block( the very first ad get load on browser) will be of higher cost as compared to other ads that load afterwards.
I don't think it's allowed to block low-paid advertisers, what you can do is compare keywords and ads alliance and find higher-paid ones.
I don't see why you want to increase CPC, what is important is eCPM and even more important is the number of ad impressions you generate. Don't care about CPC as long as it is not really too low!
From my experience is that when I get thousands of impressions without any clicks my RPM goes down and down but when I get clicks they tend to both go up. I know that google tries to keep everything regarding AdSense a secret but does anybody have any legit info on how to increase profits?
RPM is pretty variable. I have an ad unit that regularly gets no clicks at all (its in the footer of a forum) - RPM is about 50c and it makes about $1 a day. I have another site that gets dozens of clicks and makes about $1 a day too for 4x the impressions of the first one. RPM about 15c. Its just what you end up getting paid per 1000 impressions, nothing else.
