Hey Guys ... I spent more than 30 mins looking for this on yahoo and google ... heck I even gave MSN a shot lol ... my search terms were (striped, stripped, stripped sunrise, 2.0, etc) ... and the best I got as the stripe generator sites that do diagonal, vertical, and horizontals but NO SUNRISE EFFECT Greatly appreciate your assistance in advance! p.s. and here is another example http://i33.tinypic.com/1zv528k.jpg
if you have a vector art program, I think i remember seeing a background like that somewhere on vectortuts.com
They are usually called "vector rays". It's one of the default shapes in Photoshop, so this effect can be quickly applied by placing the Rays shape onto your background.
