Enter the tracking code correctly into your website and you should see the results in your analytics account.

I have chosen NOT to place the code in my sites as I have read that it puts you in the Google local search and takes away the Organtic linking to establish term position!!

Anyone care to comment on that??

I think you better put the good in a separate php file and include this file in all your pages if your server supports php, so if you want to modify the code later, you don't have to edit all pages.
