How to put relevant links in text content using automated tool

    Hi friends,

    This is my first post in this forum.

    I have a question to ask you guys,
    I went to wikipedia.org there, i found there that people have wrote many good content and easy to understand, and i also found that people have given link in the text on some words, taking you page which contain page made for that word.
    for instance: if i am studying on P2P clients than in that content if i come across word called "FILE SHARING" | "CLIENTS" | "COMPUTER NETWORK"
    this words contains link to that post(pages)

    so here my question comes in how do people do it,
    i hear from someone that it is automated tool, is it is true
    how can i get that tool, what do we call it, whats the name for it.
    i wan to use this tool for my website. can any one help me.

    Wikipedia has a script that allows certain words with a tag around them to automatically link to the Wikipedia page for the tagged words.

    I'm sure you could find it if you digged around on Google.

    Wikipedia detects most of the words from the article and compares them to it's database, then links to the relevant page if such exists. Imagine the time required if users had to do that manually... :)
