How to put password in Wordpress

    I have a Wordpress blog and its now searchable in google for some keywords....I want to make my blog exclusive to members only and not open to public. How can I do that? I can see that some blogs need passwords and username to log in....Please advise on how to do this.

    Try this
    It's very simple just you have to add index file code to your index file of wordpress , and it'll be protected !

    Thanks! so will I be able to give password and individual username to each person I want to give access to..
