How to put images on fireworks??

    Hello dpeers,

    i work on one project using fireworks..truly said, i not familiar with fireworks..i created one rounded table and i have a problem to insert the image on my rounded table(i mean copy the X mage and paste into to the rounded table)..i try so many times, but i not works..

    any one can help me?..Thanks for any replying guys..:)

    I'm not sure I understand what you mean, can we see a screenshot of what you're up to?
    And why not try Photoshop. Since Adobe have aquired Macromedia, chances are they will stop supporting Fireworks since they have their own Graphic editting tools.

    Oh, and.. Consider looking for a moderator to move this thread to the right section. Graphics & Multimedia Forum would be more appropriate I think, unless you're actually talking about slicing your image for a HTML layout..

    As long as you're inserting the image in a layer above the table, it should show up. Try importing the picture into its own canvas first - then move it over. There's no reason for it not to show up.

    Good thing too. Photoshop is a great bitmap editor, but it's a POS for vector work when compared to a program as powerful as Fireworks. If anything, I hope FW replaces ImageReady.
