    You can Customize the Return to Merchant page and Put a Download Link there using a gateway Script (I can code this if you need! It will protect you real download address)

    There is a free IPN script called Digisell, works really well, emails product to customer or can provide download link.

    Its like Hosted Payment Gateway and Download provider
    But they charge you fees too :)
