I copied an affiliate code on my blog over at blogger.com and it just shows the code in text. I want it to show the link/banner. How do I do it? Help appreciated.
You should do it that way: <a href='THE AFFILIATE LINK GOES HERE'><img src='THE IMAGE LINK GOES HERE'></a> Code (markup): This is if you have a banner graphic...if not, simply use it that way: <a href='THE AFFILIATE LINK GOES HERE'>YOUR TEXT HERE</a> Code (markup):
Sorry, I don't understand. My CPA affiliate code does not work by copying it into my blog post. I'm new to all this. I just want the banner to appear in my post, so people will click it. At the moment, that is not working.
What do you want exactly? Include a hyperlink in your posting? In your text? Or do you want a banner IN your posting?
I want the banner in my posting or somwhere on my blog. I don't understand, everyone is telling me to use blogs to advertise affiliate links but it's not working for me. How does everyone else do it?
If you started with blogging, don't spam it with affiliate links...build reputation with good content, get some rankings and don't promote products in every single posting your write...
I understand how to hyperlink in my post....But have always wondered how to put a banner ad in. Would I do that the same way as a picture?
I've already posted decent content using google trends. How do I get rankings? I just want to make money, need to make some cash. Youtube doesn't seem to be doing anything for me either. I don't think I'm cut out for this.
Its the same way, instead of a text you put img src tag there. So let's say, you have a hyperlink: <a href="http://google.com">click here for google</a> Code (markup): just add the img src to it: <a href="http://google.com"><img src="http://www.DOMAIN.com/YOURBANNER.jpg"></a> Code (markup): That's all
Thread starter - you don't know how to put affiliate links or how to make money using affiliate links. If it is the second case, then start building a community around and make some traffic first. then automatically you can earn from affiliate.
