    You can't directly. Isn't there some kind of message on your channel saying "Earn money from your videos"? Just click on that and follow the instructions.

    In the UK they invite you to become a youtube partner but in other countries I think you can apply directly.

    You cannot put ads on channel itself. they let you join the program when your channel becomes eligible and you could show ads on/in your videos

    Join the youtube adsense program and you can show in the specific video that you want to show up the ads.

    What if you have an existing adsense account? How does is it now work? Do you still have to join the adsense partner or something?
